12a in a gsl-se starting problem

I havent started my car in over 2 weeks. The oil pan gasket is bad so it is leaking oil. I tried starting it today but all it does is crank. After a while of cranking and not starting, there was some white smoke coming from the engine. I then stopped, was this because lack of oil or did i do something terribly wrong?

any help would be appreciated

We need some more information from you;

1) is it a 12A in a SE chassis, or what?
2) does it have oil? Did you check?
3) did it flood? Was 'smoke' a white color and smell like fuel?
4) What else have you tried?
5) Why did it stop running 2 weeks ago?

Based on not knowing the answers to the above questions, I'd doubt that you did anything to it seriously wrong that could damage the engine, but I wouldn't go at this again until you figure out some answers to each of the questions above. After that, we may be able to point you in the right direction, such as ignition, fuel, etc.

Kinda perplexing that you state it's a 12A in a 13B chassis, which, on the surface could point to a whole slew of things that wouldn't work right.

1) It's a 12a in a gsl-se chassis
2) will check tomorrow
3) Yea, the smoke was white but it smelled like some kind of oil.
4)Nothing, as i do not know what to do.
5)It didnt stop running 2 weeks ago, it has just been parked for the past 2 weeks. It ran fine before that.

the 12a is in a SE chassis......it has oil......smoke from the tail pipe smelled like fuel.....it dint stop running 2 weeks ago we just never started it for a while cuz it's not insured or anything it's gonna stay uninsured till summer....i just took off the air filter cover....(dunno why) we tried cranking it and i suddenly saw smoke rising out of the enginebay and it smelled like sumtin was burning....blew on it to stop the smoke and then closed the hood to choke the air source for watever's burning and then thats it we left it.

Try again in a few hours in case it's flooded. I've flooded my 12A a few times and it did smoke pretty bad once it finally started up. Thats what I'd do anyways. Don't see how you could have messed anything up just having it sit there... If someone disagrees with me I wouldn't argue though.
