My 12a J-bridge puts 205hp to the wheels @ 8800rpms. Dynojet.

Power just STARTS to come on @ 7000rpms. Peak torque is around 7000rpms too.

48 dellorto dhla 42mm chokes. Very effecient exhaust system and intake manifold.

I would like to see your dynochart heb09

If it's not too much trouble, could you post your dynochart heb09?

Don't have it. I'll see if I can get it off the previous owner. As for the fuel issue, I fixed it this morning! Got a new clamp and seems to not hesitate anymore at high rpm with the big fuel pump going. Now to start saving for my turbo setup

P.S: Why is it so hard for you guys to believe a bridgy puts out 240 at the flywheel? Just wish someone lived on the goldy so you could have a drive. If I cant get a hold of the dynochart, I'm going to get it dyno'd again asap.

I'd really like to drive it ! 240 on an australian dyno (which rates lower than u.s.a. dynojet which is what we're used to benchmarking) and streetable with a holley 465 is what we want to see.

we're not saying it's not possible; we just want to see that it has been done. lots of people say they make XXX.xx horsepower but when it gets dyno'd it's really making less.

i saw a custom turbo ][ get dyno'd recently, guy was very dissapointed it only put 250 torque & 250 horsepower @ the flywheel.

Aussie chassis dyno's read lower which means we use about 30% drive-train loss as a rule of thumb whereas with Dynojets it's about 10-15%. Obviously the drivetrain loss is the same but the way the dyno measures output at the wheels is different.

That would put Hebs engine at about 180rwhp on a Dyno Dynamics and about 205rwhp on a Dynojet. Definately possible but considering the low rpm and smallish carb it's probably a bit on the high side.

Some of the best bridgey's I've seen here were putting out about 210rwhp on Dyno Dynamics.

I'm in Brissy so I'll gladly come and drive it if the offer's still open.

npz mate!
Maybe you could recommend a descent rotary shop in brissy as well? The only one I know of around here is dyson rotarys. They seem alright but I'd like to go somewhere recommended. Mazfix in brissy looks alright from what I've read on their web site. They have a nice dyno setup as well Also do you know of any clubs in brissy/goldy area?

P.S: I've owned my baby for 24 days so I don't have many rotary contacts

Mate, go to Dyson for sure! I probably wouldn't go anywhere else and I'm in Brisbane. They've got a dyno as well. Mazfix are ok but they're pricey and I've heard some bad stories.

As for clubs, check out Seven of Clubs. They organise cruises throughout the year and you get discounts at various places when you're a member.
