12A or 13B Carb?

12A or 13B Carb?

Okk this is the deal I found a 12 A to replace my 83 motor for 200$$$ CAN, AND A 13b CARB 1984 FOR 400$$$ WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? , HOW HARD IS A efi SWAP OVER??

well.........if its a 13b carb motor then you dont have to switch to efi and it will be a simple swap. if the 13b your looking at still has the factory fuel injection then you need the wiring and ecu. if both are carb i would go for the 13b assuming it isnt high mileage

200 bones for a stock 12a? FOOOOEY! better be more like 50.00 the answer to this question depends on how much work you plan to do. swapping to a 13b will require some modification.. altho nothing crazy. how good are you under the hood of your 7?

what the Hell!

Ive looked for 12a or 13b motors for 2 years now anything running is worth atleast $800,00 find me cheap motors damn how do you find these deals im me

13b carb? stock?

EFI swap is not easy unless you plan on removing the dash from a parts car (GSL-SE) and getting the front harness and installing it into your 82, easier way out is a aftermarket carb setup.

this all comes down to how good you are are working the wrench tho.
