Can you put a 13 B in an 85 RX7 GS. I was told it is not possible because of the location of the intake manifold????

I put a 13B in my '81 S model. The intake manifold wasn't a problem.

Dude, you gotta read. Hit the FAQ at the top of the page and you'll learn a lot. Not be rude, but there's a LOT of info regarding the swap, and a little gets lost everytime it's typed out again.

This thread

is a current one with a guy considering 12A and 13B options.

The short answer is that it'll fit fine, the swap's pretty easy, it's just a matter of what you do with your carb or fuel injection, and how you plan to mount the engine that are the major concerns. None of these decisions are particularly hard or expensive.
