12A or 13B

I recently purchased a 1985 RX-7 GLS-SE. I am currently restoring it, it was in sad shape when I purchased it. Someone has removed the 13B and replaced it with a low mileage 12A (so I am told). Question? Do I keep the 12A or find a 13B, All the wiring and CPU seem to be intact?

Also, does anyone know if the rear calipers are the same on a GLS and a GLS-SE?

If your going to remove the 12a I'd say you have a perfect TII swap candidate on your hands. IMO

if you're going to "restore", then get a 13B - at the very least, an S3 case. you can always use newer guts in it for more pep.

no. the SE brakes are different from the GSL.

good luck and post pics of your starting point and progress.
