Throttlebody hoses
Removed my throttlebody/intake manifold the other day to change a injector and after i replaced it i've notice that the coolant hoses to the throttlebody are leaking. They were original and in pretty rough shape.
Was wondering if anyone knows where i can get replacements. I live in CANADA, so ordering them from Mazdatrix might be a bit pricy (shipping/customs, etc.).
I think there are three in total (two for sure).
It's for an 84 GSL-SE.

I just replaced my 2 coolant lines using 1/2 fuel line (84 GSL-SE). You need to make it long too avoid kinking, but it seems to be fine and tucks in nicely. I did not even try to source those molded/shaped hoses.

The other day one of the angled lines (near the rear of throttlebodyl) split just as I was pulling up to work (!^!#@#$#^!!)!!!! Luckily it split right at the clamp and was accessible (barely). I happend to have some tools in the back and managed to rip the split section off and push enough of it on to re-clamp it!
Was going to replace my fuel lines, so I might just try to use fuel hose, cause that I can easily get.
Haven't read anything about the throttlebody mod. What are the benefits and how hard is it to do?
I'll have to do some searching. THX guys!

Yeah, did some reading on the mod and it doesn't look like something I'll be doing to my NA. Pretty cold where I live for half the year, so I couldn't even imagine what kind of problems I'd have if I did it!

You can get the orignal hoses from the dealer. They are somewhat expensive ($15-$20 USD each from what I remember). It is nice to have hoses that fit without kinking. One trick is that Mazdatrix usually uses the Mazda part number, but they switch them around.
The rear hose should be: N304-13-208A
The water pump to wax pellet: N304-13-209
Give the dealer a call and see what the prices are. When I was in the US, it usually took my dealer 2 days to get the parts in.

Can you do the 2 throttle body hoses without removing the intake? I think my car has the bypass in it. I saw a long hose coming from back of water pump which goes all the way under the intake and comes out at the back end at firewall. Then it curves around to a fitting.
