1/8 mile drag in San Diego
Yea I know this should be in the upcoming events but I want a few of you 1st gens to come to.
I recently posted about someplace to practice racing and SDrotory-FC told me about www.racelegal.com I am getting a couple of guys from my work to go down, and I was wondering if anyone else wants to meet up. We are going on friday, Nov. 12th. You can check out the site but I think it is 5 bucks to go and 20 to race. If you enter your car there are a bunch of rules though. Check it out.

look on the site, it is in the Qualcomm parking lot. Gates open at 6:00 and races start no later than 6:30 (pm). Trophys and whatnot are handed out when the event is over at midnight.
I would pick you up but my rex will be stripped of the seat, spare, bins, airfreshener, and anything else that makes weight. Sorry.

Carl.
lightweight flywheels don't help with drag racing.
i was running on 195 width tires.
i never got to see what it could do with wider tires and the weber side draft.

I would like to see that timeslip too. I ran 10.6 with the mikuni, headers, lsd, stock tires rats nest removal, no power anything. And I can chirp 3rd.
Even tried a set of 13x8 rims with hoosier autocross tires on the back and they actually slowed my times down.
My second gen with headers and exhaust only ran 10.01 with wheel hop on the 16x7 rims and Kumhos.
Either the engine is ported, or that fuel charge is going somwhere else.
