I always hear people talking about there 7's throwin flames, are they suppose to do that, or is it just the carb'd 13b's that flame. I have a 13 se efi straight piped and the closest thing I get to a flame is a couple sparks when im dead in it and shifting, lol Its not like its any big deal I just think it would be cool to see fire shoot out of my tail pipe!

 

rotaries just like to do it...try this, get in 3rd gear...floor it up to 6,000, then let off the gas...as the revs come down it should begin to backfire, and if you get lucky...woosh.

 

mine does it also. I have a GS with 86-88 13B SP, with duals and Deloroto Sidedraft.

I just have to be on it past 4K and like Fb drifter said just let off then i get a deep pop like a lil explosion under the car good size fireballs too my GF said following me.

My SE will do it to, if I leave the throttle sensor on, but that **** will sound like a ******* 22 going off so i dont leave it on.

my friend was tailgaiting me and i was runny octane boosters...i let off at 6500 in 3rd and i scortched his moms bumper lol

 

Mine does it any day off the week, mates get scared when they drive behind me, iv had a couple of em think its a bloody speed camara, does it when i hammer it or just take foot off.

 

My racecar does that constantly. One guy in a Ferrari 360 at a track day called it my "turn signal" LOL. To let him know which side to pass me on.
