0567005030 RELAY A/C not working

The clutch on my ac compressor is not engaging. I bypassed the relay and the clutch will turn over.
I tested the relay and its the problem. Theres a click but the clutch will not turn.
I cannot find a new or cross reference a relay to replace it with.
Has anyone rewired a different relay to work?

Numbers on the relay

How did you test the relay, did you put a test light to the power and load pins while testing to see if relay switched power?
Have you tested for input signal from HVAC controls, for a ground and for load power input to the relay?Continuity from load terminal relay to ac compressor magnet?
Have you checked the level of refrigerant charge in ac system?
You don't state what year car you're working with, there are different components in systems on different models, years.
There are many things that control the operation of the ac compressor clutch, the relay being defective is not at the top of my list. They do not have a high failure rate. Before you resort to rewiring car for a different relay, suggest you familiarize yourself with the circuits that energize relay.

Try to refrain from starting multiple threads on the same subject,it leads to confusion.

Problem: Clutch does not turn on when pressing air con button

System has been vacuumed and recharged.
When pressing the air con on button there is a click from the relay.
The clutch does not engage

When bypassing relay and testing compressor, clutch does engage/turn

Is it the relay?

Thanks!

So the system is charged and holding pressure? That year car likely dealer or aftermarket installed air, there were a couple different manufacturers of kits. Looking at relay, would guess dealer installed.

If you're asking me to tell you yes the relay is bad,i can't do that. I DID tell you it would be low on my list of possibilities and asked you if you had checked any of the things i listed. There are many interconnected circuits that all need to be operational for ac to work.

Was the system previously empty of refrigerant? Do you have and know how to use a test light and multimeter. You need to have these items to diagnose your car.

The fact that relay clicks tells me it has power and ground to the coil that pulls in the contacts that complete the circuit to compressor clutch but it may not have power to the circuit that powers the compressor clutch. You need to determine that it does or it doesn't for you to know where to go next.
