Congrats! I know the Anxiousness (is that even a word?) you're feeling now..

Is the exhaust even connected? That seems REAL loud.

 

It sounds to me like the idle mixture is off rather than having a massive port.

Sounds good though.

 

Man that ZO6 wishes it sounded half as good as that 7 LOL. Very nice though. Can't wait until it's tuned and boosting. Kudos for good choice of music as well

Thanks for the comments folks. To tell you the truth I really do not know what type of porting it has. This engine is primarily going to be used to tune with. And then after suspension and a few other small things it will be coming back out. However I do know that the engine was rebuilt based on a few marks on the engine itself. Engine had a few modifications on it so it is possible that there could be a port. Guess we will find out when I get it up on the dyno.

The person that is tuning the vehicle is Gary Brooks, he is a local guy here in Wa that has been working with Rotaries for decades. Mainly deals with superchargers etc but I felt my car was best in his hands.

The exhaust is connected. And it is a little loud for my taste. No as bad as some of the local rotaries, however I plan on doing some experimenting with the exhaust. It is amazing what a 90 degree bend can do for sound The picture in the video is the entire exhaust.

The car is not fully tuned, and I suspect that some of that brap will go away.

I will be sure to keep you guys/gals informed as this process progresses.

Which ECU are you running?

 

Can tell it isn't tuned from the way it shakes like a ***** and the sound when revving it. It's only going to get louder but you'll love the feeling when it comes on boost
