no, no its okay. i never mentioned anything about being all motor, just that I know a turbo would win. I just dont have $$$ for a turbo setup. Also I have a 6 port.

Looks like factory specs is 195 HP at 7,000 rpm, 156 @ 5250 torque, curb weight around 3,000lb.

Off the top of my head I would think 175 hp in a Rx-7 would beat him.

i see you got some suspension work. how is it? ive got RB springs already, probably get blues for now, I wanted 5-ways but i'd rather just save for the ST Camber kit or the RB one.

hows the ride stiff? bumpy? rough when you hit bumps but stiff?
my front right shock is so bad that @ around 80 mph the front right rocks up and down. when braking too.

I raced one of those 98+ newer body style Preludes at the local races about a month back. Dude was hella cocky, said he had I/H/E. Long story short, by the time we hit the line I was at 180km's in 4th with about 8+ car lengths. Always have faith in the shitty driver with too much attitude.

Also be thankful for 18" heavy rims...look great when sitting still. And that's about all their good for doing.

1984se- the suspension in my GSL is very tight. The blues are a little rough especially for some of the back roads in WV. If I had the money, I would go 5 way on the shocks..If they could be tuned down a notch, that would be great for me. All-in-all she handles very well, and the new tires help quite a bit.

As far as the Prelude goes, I've never met an owner of one willing to press his precious Honda flagship racer to the limit. Hell, I can outgun them on backroads in my Dodge 1500 Ram. Meeeeooowwwwww.

Yeah I've noticed. Most, if not all, Honda drivers have so much faith in their cars. They think they are above everyone and no one can touch them. When I raced a cocky Eclipse GST and literally killed him, this Honda kid with an Accord that supposedly had a J Spec motor swap completely backed down from racing me. He was scared and his only excuse was "uhhh my car's not done yet dude" and I'm sure he talked **** after I left.

More proof that the 7 can't lose.
Yeah my friend has a 95 integ in which he thinks is really fast. So told him "ok if it is so fast you wanna go around this country road?" he stupidly says "sure man i will waste you"... that was teh last thing i heard from him that day because i was so far ahead of him i stopped and got lunch at the end of the road and he came after i had just gotten my food (pretty slow restaurant). Just rule of thumb.
Straights are for fast cars.
Corners are for fast drivers.

me too, when you gun it, weight transfer takes weight from the drive wheels providing less grip...
