Well I finished my MSD direct, s5 alt swap, carb rebuild(again..x5), and flushed the tank today. I also took some time to clean my lawn and the garage. All this and my wife is not mad at me!

Turn key.. engine starts. wow what a differance. I get the occationnal misfire, I am attributeing that to a old cap and rotor. I had yellow, yes yellow gas in my tank... wtf.. ****?

With every good thing theres someone thing bad.. after about 30 minutes a nice sweet smell was coming out the exhaust. I wonder if I can save it by using some kind of sealer in the radiator. The only had 77000 miles on it.

I want to thank everyone that helped me with all my upid questions. Now if I can just get ya to send me money..

the backfiring was do to air leak.. lol

it was one of the valves above the EGR system.

I got 1 hose caped at the end. I got another one thats coming out of the stock air box. Its the one just to the left of the hose that goes does to the valve at the intake manifold.
