1983 Datsun 280ZX 2+2: Auto, Test pipe, Upgraded ignition, bare interior. (Smashed into a mountain)
1992 Honda Accord: Gift, Bone stock, owned for 3 weeks. (Sold)
1982 Datsun 280ZX coupe: 5 speed, Test pipe, Upgraded ignition, Full black interior.
1983 Mazda RX-7 GS: 5 speed, 4 port 13B, Stripped emissions.
1987 Pontiac Fiero: Auto, NEVER EVER AGAIN. (Sold)

The 7 is great but my first love has to be my 82 ZX. Its not fast, yet, but it handles great, and always throws me back in my seat. I miss driving her Damn title issues.

honorable mentions; i didn't own these, but got to drive em.

1961-1967 Mercedes 220/230/250. if you want to feel like the bad guy from a james bond movie, this is the car for you! 4 speed stick on the tree, barber pole speedo, tailfins, its just neat. a 220S has a 2.2 liter, 230S is a 2.3, an SE has fuel injection.

1958-1961 Bugeye sprite. in a straight line these things are slow, but the car is so tiny, if you throw a couple of turns in, the bugeye will just walk away from anything else (which was a modded FD at the time). its physics, the sprite is around 1200lbs with you in it, and small enough to take a racing line in a normal sized lane.

1966-1985 Fiat spider. its just a good all around car, very balanced. my friend and i spent a really enjoyable summer in and around one.

1966-2003 Alfa spider. better engine that the fiat, but other than that its not as good.

I've only had a few cars. I'm going to list them in order of preference from best to worst.

1: 85 RX7 GS Man Ran great, very little rust, ate fart can imports alive off the line every time.
2: 89 Civic DX Sedan 1.5L Auto Not quick at all but very dependable and made it's money back delivering pizza.
3: 91 Civic LX Sedan 1.5L Man Same as the other civic but not in as nice of condition.
4: 84 RX7 S Man Body and engine block are in awesome shape, has GSL rear end, only so low in the ranking because I can't get it to run right!!!
5: 94 Mercury Tracer Sedan 1.9L Auto Crappily built Mexican Ford product leaked tranny fluid from anywhere it could. Interior was cheap and broken. No heater, no hazard lights, no power, Fix Or Repair Daily.

1. 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity
2. 1988 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
3. 2002 Pontiac sunfire 2.2L 4 door
4. 1984 MAzda RX-7 GSL
5. 1997 GMC Jimmy

It's a tossup between the Celebrity and the RX-7. I love the 7, but the Celebrity was my first car. I got it for free from Mom's friend and it was worth every penny. I learned a lot about working on cars and my experience with it is why I do every possible bit of maintenance I can by myself. I beat the snot out of it, skipped class with it and fooled around with my first serious girlfriend in it and I loved it. It was the quintessential high school kids car. The RX-7 I've had more adventures in than I can even remember and have learned a ton about working on cars with it. I've shown a lot of people what I can do with my own hands and some time (and a lot of money) and it's always satisfying when someone that has given me **** about modifying it pulls a 180 and tells me their surprised that I've been able to do so much with it by myself. The Jimmy I just got and is another project altogether and will hopefully have it's own story in a couple years.

1. 1985 Mazda RX-7. It had 300,000 miles on it when I sold it.
2. 1992 Chevrolet S10. Standard cab, 4.3, and 5 speed. It was in great shape.
3. 1995 Saturn SC2. It sucked and never ran.
4. 2000 Saturn SL2. I liked it a lot. I did a lot of mods to it and had a lot of fun with it.
5. 2004 Mustang GT. Bright red, hurst short shifter, and flowmasters. It was a lot of fun to cruise around in.
6. 1985 Mazda RX-7. I bought this as a project. I still have it and I need to get to work on it.
7. 2008 Cobalt SS/TC. This was my first new car. It was fast and handled great, but fwd killed it for me.
8. 2004 Pontiac GTO. Modded 404whp LS1. It's fast and loud, but drinks a lot of gas.

I have had a few others not worth mentioning. I have had 13 or so vehicles.

1. 1990 Toyota Corolla - VERY reliable, took it threw a few corn fields and it never missed a beat (also ran it through 2 demo derbies)
2. 1958 Chevy Apache - Chick Magnet, got 12 mpg on a good day, still have it... need a 3.73 truck rear end to get it rolling again
3. 1995 Geo Metro Hatch Back- enough said....
4. 1992 Yamaha Seca II (XJ600S) - Very Reliable and enough power to get in trouble with, summer DD
5. 1984 Mazda RX-7 GS - Most pleasurable car to drive, was my DD for two years till the engine went
6. 1990 Dodge Dynasty - handles like a boat, can't take turns quickly, but it's plenty comfortable

In chronological order, sort of.

1. 1984 Mazda Rx7 S: RB header with straight thru exaust. This thing was in BAD shape, but I loved it up until the cancer took it. RIP
2. 1994 Honda Accord LX: great gas mileage, reliable, and all around good car. SOLD
3. 1980 Mazda RX7: bought with some mods, and it quickly became my ongoing project with too many mods to list. When I started college I swapped this chasis and fresh 13b streetport for my current SA chasis and $$. Only got to drive it for maybe 1/2 a mile in the time I owned it. SOLD
4. 1979 Mazda RX7: 5 lug and TII brakes, coil overs and suspension mods, dellorto, Rotary Engineering exhaust, MSD, 2nd gen direct fire, etc. This is my current RX7 and one I plan on holding onto for a very long time. It's a slow moving project due to college, but I love driving it, when I get to, and tinkering with it, which is how it spends most of its life.
5. 2001 Yamaha R6: It had exhaust and a sprocket. First bike. Very fun...too much even. Learned I have to restrict myself on a bike. SOLD
6. 2006 Kymco People 150: cheap to maintain, bulletproof, with bigger wheels feels a lot like a motorcycle. I have owned this longer than any other vehicle, besides my SA.
7. 1985 Mazda RX7 GSL: SS brake lines, RB header and custom Borla exhaust, RB Nikki intake, Carter pump and holley FPR, and painted Mazda blue. I loved this car. I got hit and totaled it right after I moved away to college. I really miss this car a lot. RIP
8. 1997 Nissan D21 pickup: bulletproof, ugly paint job, rust issues, a great truck. I just got rid of it, but will always like these truck. SOLD
9. 1997 Toyota Rav4 AWD: new DD, first automatic I've ever owned, roof rack, plenty of room for dogs and adventures. I love this car!

I can't really pick a favorite. I love some many for different reasons. If I had to, it'd be a close race between the RX7, Rav4, and Kymco, the only ones I still own.

1) 1978 Chevy Nova - worked on it for 2 years before it ran, pulled in front of a suburban in the fog the first time I ever drove it, totalled

2) 1984 Lincoln Town Car - high school car, best a/c of any vehicle ever built, could fit 6 in comfort and two in the trunk, engine stopped at exactly 200,000 miles

3) 1994 Dodge Ram - 318 ran great and sounded even better, ragged on it all through college, can't believe it didn't die, sold it cause needed 4wd to move to Montana

4) 1994 Toyota Pickup - 22RE most reliable engine ever made, rear diff blew out near Yellowstone and drove 100 miles back to town, off road machine later in life, gave it to my little brother who blew the engine up in 5,000 miles

5) 2000 Audi S4 - best vehicle I(technically wife) have ever owned, never a fix, fast, efficient, luxurious, perfect, wife still DD

6) 2003 Dodge Ram - Cummins Power, absolute beast with every mod I could think of, when turned all the way up it would slip the stage III clutch, Dodge interior was a piece of crap, finally couldn't take it anymore

7) 1983 Mazda RX7 GSL - bought out of a field in Wyoming for $200, started up after minimal work, after three years of work it is starting to come around, lots of fun on track or in the mountains, wife hates it(misses the torque of the S4), still own

8) 2006 Buick Park Avenue Ultra - not sure about my decision making ability on this one, decent power, good fuel economy, luxurious, HORRENDOUS quality, every piece on this car broke in the year I owned it, never again

9) 2009 Toyota RAV4 - everyone seems to love these, I can't really put my finger on why I didn't, great car just not for me

10) 2001 Chevy Silverado Duramax - great work truck, never breaks down, good fuel economy, even better price, still running great past 200,000 miles

Favorite: Audi
Best track car: Mazda
Miss the most: 1994 Dodge (sounded like a nascar at full throttle)

That suit is not very happy. Please visit Style Forum. A few unsolicited comments:
Black suits are for security guards and funerals. jacket sleeves should hit at the ball of your thumb. Pants should, well fit. Red shirts belong at a euro-trash underground rave. Sports/diving watches should never be worn with a suit (unless you are James Bond). Three button suits are... just say no, the only exception is 3-2 (three button rolled to a two). Shoes... once again, just no. Jacket should be just long enough so that it rests in your cupped fingers. Overall, the jacket is about two sizes too small. However, the shoulders appear to fit well.

I may sound like I'm being an a*s-hole, but I'm just trying to help.

Nice color on the 7!

actually the suit looks pretty cool i'd wear it, though the sleeves do look a lil short, anyways. ok so my list of cars, with a few of them i owned but didnt get to drive due to needing restoreing and being sold before it was drivable.

1. 90 eclipse gs- first car i drove to school and work nice and clean car but nothing run, i hate fwd cars

2. 70 cutlass supreme- i really loved this car and wish i had it back, all stock and original exc. cherry bombs

3. 69 olds 442- project

4. 70 olds rallye 350- the car i had wanted since i was 5 finally got my chance to get it but had to trade the 69 442, cutlass supreme, and some spare parts to get it though.

5. another 69 442- project

6. 72 buick skylark- just bought it to get it running so i could trade it for the next car.

7. 67 el camino- had an awsome shift kit but body sucked

8. 66 el camino- rusty project but had a rebuilt 400 sbc in it.

9. 74 vw beetle- project

10. 64 1/4 mustang- project- i thought it would be easy to pick up girls in a red stang, but i just couldnt bring my self to actually fixing a stang lol.

11. 65 olds 442- possibly the fastest car ive ever had gotta love the 4-speeds but then traded it for the next car.

12. 70 olds w-31- still in the process of rebuilding the original motor now, possibily the nicest old car ive had.

13. 85 gsl- project

14. 83 gs converted to gsl- i loved this car bought it and got it running and learned alot about 7s with it, but some dill hole pulled out in front of me and it got totaled rip.

15 85 gsl-se- bought it cheap cause the tank had a lot if trash in it and the po didnt feel like cleaning it out.

16. another 67 el camino- project im still working on planning on going back 327 4-speed.

17. 80 rx7 ls- still a project trying to get it running.

and the one i love the most is the 70 rallye 350 one day i'll finsh restoring it, hopefully but for now the gsl-se is my daily driver.

I'm not much of a car guy, but here goes.

1. 95 Mitsubushi Mirage: fun little car for a highschool student.

2. 93 Mazda MX-3: I didn't know much about cars at the time, but I knew V-6 in small car = cool (yes it got the 2.5 shoved in it)

3. 90 Geo Metro LS 4 door wagon: AWSOME.

4. 79 Mazda RX-7: its been... interesting.

The Metro was cool as hell... I LOVED that car unfortunatly it wanted to return to the earth so it rusted away. I think the MX-3 is by far the best. I had hella cargo room and it had a crap-ton of pep. I sold it to buy the 7, but I kinda wish I hadn't.

Now I've been around the block on motorcycles:

1. 86 honda rebel: awsome learner bike you can tumble it and pick it back up.

2. 86 honda rebel: um....

3. 80 Suzuki GS850G: massive gears way wide first. Shafty kinda cool.

4. 76 Yamaha TX500: Cool light weight DOHC tourque machine.

5. 07 LB200-2: Chinese... don't ask

6. 82 Yamaha Virago 750: PROJECT FAILURE... big mistake

7. 74 Honda CB550: Unquestionably the BEST motorcycle I've ever owned, ever.

8. 76 Honda CB550: parts/fixed and sold... PROFIT $$$

9. 89 Yamaha Razz: hehe SPAZZ the RAZZ... gotta love a 50cc scoot

10. 69 Suzuki T500: WHY DID I SELL THIS???!?! OMG bigest blunder of my life. I wanted the VF700F sportbike and I didn't want to save up for it so I sold my PRICLESS T500!!!!!! I'm still kicking myselff for this mistake. It was soooo cool going down the street and my neighbors would say "you need rings for that bike?"

11. 84 Honda VF700F: cool sport touring bike. Just about average in every way.

12. 83 Honda VF700F: At this point I realized I will forever more get two of every Honda I get.

13. 95 Harley Davidson 1200: what a load of crap... I've always hated American bikes; so I figured I'd give it a shot. Its got tourque, but all round its a pig. Well now I can hate on american iron and say I've tried it.

14. 99 Suzuki GSF1200S: VERY FAST... insainly fast... great sport touring bike, but I had no title.

15. 04 Honda Metro II: stupidly slow, but reliable

16. 84 Honda XR80: I got a 2 pack of these damn things. Not fast enough to be cool and not small enough for a kid.

17. 07 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja: crap. No *** and not that great handling. Whats up with the soft rear suspension?!?!

18. 71 Honda CT70: BAD *** TRAIL BIKE. THis one sold me on the Off road world. ALthough my friend DUSTS me on his KX80 I don't care I still make it wherever he goes it just takes longer.

19. Another 70's CT70: Get the theme...

20. 86 Honda Aero 80: Sweet scooter, till I got wanged by a car.

21. 88 Honda Aero 50: put the Aero 80 engine in the Aero 50

22. 93 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja: PROJECT "Holy Smoke" got a DT360 engine shoved in the frame... gonna bump it up to a DT400 pretty soon here

23. 67 Honda CD50: cool little classic, but I just don't ride it that offten. And I have two.

I'm probably missing a few bikes, but I got the ones that stuck out in my mind.
The CB550 is by far the BEST motorcycle money can buy. It NEVER breaks and I ride the **** out of it. It out handles all the bikes Ive owned and little ricer brats I meet on the road. I've got the gears close so I can dust little ricer punks and I've got the ***** to DD an old thing so the Harley bug snorters can shove it.

1980 Camaro -> Drove it around the yard once. Couldn't get the title. heavy, but fun.

1985 RX7 -> Will never sell. Now has TII suspension, brakes, etc. 6-port turbo swap that is taking forever

1972 Triumph Spitfire -> Just picked it up this summer. has a punched out 1500 block with head work, cam, intake, exhaust. Made it on 3 cruises before it bent 2 pistons. original motor is going back in til the 1500 is back up, but it's now winter.

1967 Pontiac Acadian -> Dad's ride. Sounds unreal for a hopped-up 283, but put down a disappointing 240whp. Will get more power yet. Loud and stiff

1935 Ford Pickup Hotrod -> Dad's other ride. Beautiful cruiser. Makes me nervous driving these two. Too nice.

1966 Corvair 140 convertible -> Fun! Needs full resto.

1975 trans am, like a super model crack *****, it rusted from the inside out, my dad's 2nd childhood

1983 rx-7...defies time and physics...like a 40 y o fitness model

Wow mine is really short compared to some of you guys but, here goes.

#1 1987 Toyota Celica GT, My FIRST car. She's a hatch with an auto but, was a fun start always ran great first car I got to modify a bit, reliable and rugged fun to drive. Waiting for repair and transport to OK from HI after a nasty hit to the side.
Name: PICT0004.jpg

#2 1994 GMC K1500 4X4, what can I say he's dead reliable, purchased after the yota and still own him. 246k mi on the stock engine, had a couple fuel pumps, a tune up and some other maintenance items. Most reliable vehicle I have owned 350 V8 that gets 24mpg highway.
Name: IMG00008.jpg
Views: 132

#3 1983 Mazda RX-7, she's my lil'headache at times I fix what's broke and she always needs a bit more but, that's ok cuz she's my baby. I have caught and gave **** over this one but, I've put blood sweat and tears into this one. Specs are in my sig.

That's my 3 for now.

1970 non-emission (no Reactor! header from the factory...) R100 coupe.
Much loved. New replacement 10A block cost me - *gasp* $400 from Mazda. This is when mazda was actively buying back and crushing R100s by the hundreds (in Canada at least). Dealerships had _rows_ of them behind the shop awaiting disposal. We'd sneak in on weekends and strip them for parts...
Sold it for $400 in '86. Still have nightmares. Esp since you can add TWO Zero's to that price in Australia. gads...

Needless to say, will be more careful with beloved SA...!

i just wanted to see which ones would come to mind... too many junk hondas in between

1. 1985 Subaru GL-10 - turbo 4wd and fairly slow. learned to drive it in tahoe in the winter. probably the best 1st car anyone could have
2. 1993 Honda civic ex - i wanted an fc bad and i had one picked out, dad said them rotarys er scary n unreliable. nobody can work on em. he convinced me to get the civic. wish i could do that one over
3. 1992 Acura integra gs - mint. auto. grocery getter, traded for 4
4. 1991 Acura integra ls - not mint spun a rod bearing at 7200 on our local mtn road
5. 2003 Subaru wrx - great car just got bored with awd, oh yah and a fatty speeding ticket haha
6. 1995 Honda civic lx sedan - turbo sohc with full gsr/typer susp. i could keep up with a lot of cars in the twisties
7. 1994 Toyota 2wd p/u - DD this around and put my cr250 in the back. never got to ride dirtbikes as a kid parents wouldnt let me so bought my own when i could lol
8. 1995 240sx - bought it stock, pretty much a race car when traded just recently. really learned a lot about driving in this car. pretty much auto drifts as well
9. 1995 Land Rover Discovery - one of the best handling cars ive ever had. in literally any terrain in any weather. also worst mpg ive ever had avg 12-13
10. 1989 Suzuki samurai - so much fun. too slow for practical highway use though
11. 1991 Acura legend - great car, more luxurious than you would think. got hit by a new jeep liberty.
12. 1987 Mazda Rx7 gxl - awesome car, drifted it a little in the wet, wanted to keep it but had to sell due to not having enough funds for a cat and exhaust (it was header to straight pipe)
13. 1986 Toyota corolla sr5 - lightweight underpowered rwd cars are just flat out fun to drive. couldn't be havin it though girls hated it, not stylish enough for them i guess
14. 1985 Mercedes 190e - something charming about it. mint interior was a plus. it rode like it was on marshmallows
15. 1991 civic ex sedan - finally got rid of the 240 for this and cash. 240 had sr swap with issues, and i needed a daily
16. 1983 Mazda Rx7 gsl - traded the civic for this. couldn't stand fwd, always loved fb's and finally had a chance to swoop one up. after only a few weeks with the car and even only a couple days driving it i can honestly say with confidence its my favorite car out of them all.
I'm hooked on the little things like the sunroof that isn't electric and is removable. the hood opens in a more convenient direction and the headlights are very effective... then throw in the big things like amazing handling, smooth high redline, lightweight rwd w/ lsd, aaaaaand its a hatchback? finally no compromises haha

Great thread. Kind of shows how different we all are in car interest and taste.

I will post a detailed reply when I get home from work.

1. 67 VW Bug - Rusty pile-o-crap, but was fun to work on, taught me a lot about welding and body work :P got it for free in a package deal when my dad bought a 72 vette for my stepmom. Sold it with a set of porsche phonedials for 850. Never did get to drive it :P

2. "BrGreenSA" My 1980 British Racing Green RX7 Leather Sport - Have had it since May of '10, started driving it in April of this year. This thing has fought me every step of the way, I've considered selling/trading it multiple times, and have caught **** from every member of my family, including my 8 year old sister. And I wouldn't have it any other way This car has brought a smile to my face every time I've driven it. Does it still have problems? Yes - my drivers side door is rusting in odd places, dash is cracking, driver's seat is ruined, it's the wrong color (supposed to be aurora white), front end is out of balance, it's loud and annoying, and it drinks fuel like i drink dr pepper, but it's all mine Not to mention it looks superb when I actually wash it
