when you have three "backup" vehicles in addition to your fb/sa, yet those don't run either
when you lose several 10 and 12 mm wrenches because you left them in the engine bay

When the owner/operateor of the local salvage knows you on a first name basis because you're there at least once a week to get another N.L.A. part for the 7 . . . . and your fiance and his dog know each other as well as the 2 of you.

When everyone knows you as the guy that smells like gas, I saw my one buddy the other day and he was like, "I thought I smelled gas around here". Haha, the funny thing was that I wasn't driving the RX that day, he just said that because I usually smell like it!

when your family doesnt know much about rotaries, and you fall asleep working on it saturday night, and your family abruptly shakes you and wakes you up, all because they thought you died of gas poisoning based on the smell....

When people keep asking you if you smoke, then you figure out they smell the exhaust fumes on your clothing from your non catalytic converter, running rich and premixing so it won't chuck an apex seal rx7.

I had a heated debate with my doctor during a checkup. He kept insisting I smoked and wouldn't let up.

Ha I know I got all screwed up when I drove a friend's 5-speed! LMAO, it's like **** why's the engine dying at 7000 rpms, the buzzer isn't going off so I can't be redlining it! Luckily she wasn't there to witness all this....
