The thing in pic 2 is a condenser. It goes under one bolt on the upper trans inspection cover. The end is a bullet connector.

For the location location of the wire that needs to go to the bulkhead connector, get the wiring diagram like rxtasy3 suggestion.

Pro Tip: the wire location of wires in connectors are as seen from the back side of the connector.

yes I have looked and it and its helped me alto, thank you. Although it doesn't tell me if my car (that has no emissions bs) needs it. I will take a picture tomorrow and show exactly which one it is and maybe someone can look at their car and tell me if they have it.

and what does this sensor do? I have it in the harness so I can plug it in but the wire is busted. Is it worth buying another?

It's an electrical noise filter meant to minimize static or background noise in radio/speakers. It is not mandatory, yours won't be the only car running around without one. I've owned a couple FBs in the past where it was "missing" and didn't make a detectable difference.

It's the richer solenoid page 4A-14 of the 1985 FSM 85RX7(4A) Fuel & Emissions_12A.pdf

Also here: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...elete-1116372/

A standard Google search finds all kinds of info. Google
