Did anyone reinforce/tear down my theory of setting this forum up for widescreen moniters vs square moniters.
As i said, i have widescreen computers and i have no problem. If i use school or work computers (which have square moniters) i have to scroll.
So maybe the site maker switched it up?

EDIT: I had not been to the 1st Gen section yet this morning when I wrote this...I just went there and now my display is ok. Did someone fix it? Or perhaps it is as a previous poster suggested and it is dependent on the length of the longest thread title, and the offending thread has finally been removed/expired/gotten old enough to not affect us anymore? I dunno, but I'm glad it's back to "normal".

Try looking at the 2nd gen or 3rd gen tech. sections - they are fine, but for some reason the 1st gen section is buggered up. I have a 19" moniter at 1280 by 1024 and have noticed this problem for a few months now.
Since I can view the other sections normally, I think the problem is with this site.

I'm starting to wonder if you guys or your computers are on drugs. I'm not having any problems or changes, either today or over the last few months, in the display properties of any of the forum sections, including this one.
For example, this photo should just fill the text box on the right, with no scrolling necessary.
The column on the left, with our user name, icon, join date, etc, is also displayed and intact, again visible without scrolling (in fact there is no left-right scroll on my display either here at work, a square screen, or at home on my wide screen lap top - everything fits neatly in the displayed page.
Things have been a little slow on this forum lately, are you guys just making thing up so you will have something to talk about?
Works for me.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue too. Work computer, and my 4 systems at home all display the same. Main page of the 1st gen section too wide to fit on the screen. Pain in the ***!

This is what it looks like for me.
Main page:
3rd gen section
2nd gen section
1st gen archive
1st gen section
Notice the bar on the bottom of the 1st gen section and none of the others.
These are all on my 19" screen. If I put it to full screen, the 1st gen page is okay except when I use any computer with a screen smaller than mine, ie school computer it's still messed up.

Weird, I'm not getting that, my 1st gen display and all the others look the same, just like your top panels. I'm not seeing that scroll or loss of columns on the screen I'm typing on, everything fits perfectly.
I was thinking maybe it's a Vista thing, but I have Vista on the lap top and XP at work. Maybe it has to do with older versions of Windows?
Or else display size?
I'm usually the first person to have computer problems, so I'm still thinking your computers must be on drugs.
