Neon is yesterday. LED is today. I was looking on ebay and they have the "UFO" kits on the cheap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81UM5sdeWP8

I have to say something about this kid.... And "Megami" or whatever... Oh and add anyone who actually likes this glowing crap

https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...&postcount=278

Anyone who buys this garbage, is just.... wow, just sell your car and get a damned Civic!

If it doesnt makes you faster..... Or actually improve the look of your car... Just wow, I dont even think there is a point to me saying anything because you are just to far gone, nothing anyone can say will help you.... Therapy maybe....

I mean honestly tell me what the point of that is? To make you the center of attention? Were you not loved enough as a child? Because Neons will just attract the wrong kind of attention....

You are right Loki, who on earth would fix up their car just so that they can be the center of attention? We FB folks are way more mature than that.

Are you kidding? My FB is the biggest piece of **** on the planet. Don't worry about wide body (it was a dry joke in case you didn't get it).

wat?

You don't need a kit to look similar to a Porsche, unless you want it to look like a 924 or something.

Do you really want to know what kind of attention I got with those pictures

Well now that you mention it. And you are saying those purple lights don't help with that kind of thing?

By the way, since folks are comparing 7's and Porche's, I thought I'd put my vote in for the one on the left:

Looks just like my car.

No, I don't imagine Ray goes to the lounge very often; most gen1 guys don't. I imagine ray is probably working or using the forum for its technical merits like the rest of us, not ******* off reading posts about being bored at work.

Well, you've got most of it right glewsRx, but here I am bored at work ******* off reading posts. Oh well.

But yeah, I hear there are people who went to the lounge and were never heard from again, so I stay away. Besides, who needs a lounge with Stu putting up posts like this one for us to rattle on senselessly about?

To get back on topic, the more I look at that neon, the more I like it. Do you need to upgrade your alternator?

haven't done any research but i don't think the neon lighting has much of an amperage draw.

But seriously, if one was going to do any lighting, it would have to be something tasteful. I was thinking about doing an understated set of red-orange LEDs under the dash to illuminate the driver and passenger floor areas, nothing huge, but a little tweak.

Show won't happen until after the go is done.

We require more boost.

Actually that's all I really have left to do. BNR Stage 2 or 3, then take it to Rotary Performance in Dallas and get a retune, then I'll be done Any more than that and I won't be able to keep her feet on the ground.

I'm actually working on new interior right now. Need to get new carpet for the rear deck, (see my thread here about -that- nonsense) and then going to do the $100T2 method on the rest of the carpet and seats. I'll probably get a pair of 6" neon or LED tubes and sneak them under the dash while I have the carpet out.

Oh, and getting some rectangular lamps to put in the front, just gotta find a set that have lenses matching my amber turn signals.
