My new 4x110 wheels!

Hey guys I just got my new to me set of 13x8 4x110 wheels. Man these are wiiide LOL. All I need to do is clean than up a bit and get some tires for them. I think I'm going to put on some 205/60's just to be sure I don't have any clearance issues. Here are the pictures.

I dig it.

Definitely polish, gunmetal is a good choice, but I wouldn't mind either way.

i'd like to see a nice polished lip, black spokes , and just a little yellow accent somewhere , maybe on the center cap , or spoke edges .... all covered in clear.

they're already different , go big and make them unique

^^^Ya know I would do that but they won't be staying on my SA permanently, they will be going on my FB once it is back up and on the road and it's Sunbeam Silver. It doesn't have any centercaps BUT I still have the waffles that were on the SA that has 3 center caps, I just have to pop one off and see if it will fit in the center.

My buddy runs those wheels on his FB. They are called Libra rims by American Racing. Alot of autocross guys used them back in the day because of there lightness....

I would love to do a 215 tire but I don't like the look of the 50 series sidewall, too low for me on a 13 inch wheel. They are pretty light, 14lbs each. Sounds like polishings and paiting it is! LOL

Hey Joe,

Not bad looking rims mate...

I'd probably polish the outer lip to a mirror shine and paint the inner lip gloss black, then polish the 4 inner spokes up to a nice mirror shine also...

Looks good, I should hopefully get around to finally installing your brake lights next week, so i'll be in touch...

Cam...

The 215s on my car only appear to have a very low sidewall because they are mounted on the narrow stock rims, so the sidewall bows way out from the rim, then back in at the tread. On a wider rim, I think the sidewall would be quite a bit taller because it would remain straight rather than bowing out like on mine. Make sense?

Actually Ken that makes perfect sense. I may have to look into those. Cam, I think it would be impossible to polish the inner spokes because they are a rough texture and not smooth like the outer lip is. You better get cracking on those tail lights, it's been almost a year since you got them! LOL

Updating this thread! I finally got them polished and painted, tires mounted, and them mounted on the SA. They look soooo good! I had my brother in-law sandblast them and I tried to polish the lips the best I could but I couldn't get a perfect mirror shine off them, but I'm happy with them. First set of pics are when I painted them. The next set of pictures will be with them mounted on the car, but those will wait until I'm off of work. Enjoy guys!

Sorry I'm posting these late but I got out of work late and had to go over to my buddys house to borrow his jack so I can swap a GSL rear into my FB. Here's the rest of them. The suspension is stock but it won't be for long. Some nice Eibachs are going on.

The fronts stick out about a half inch or so beyond the fenders and rears are pretty flush

I like my Revolutions a tad bit better, which are still for sale btw, but yours came out great. Just how wide are they and what was your final tire choice/size?

I "think" they are 13x8's but they very well could be 13x7's. I went with the Sumitomo HTR200 in 205/60/13. They fit great. So far I've got my Eibach prokit springs swapped out in the front and it's looking great. Once I get the rears swapped I'll take more pictures and update the thread.

I put the 13X8 Revolutions on a spare 7, they have Hoosier Autocross tires on them, 225/45D/13. Sidewalls are 2-1/2" tall, lol. Even with fresh lowering springs, they looked like roller skate wheels, huge gap from the top of the tires to the bottom of the fender lips. They stuck out far enough the body would need narrow flares. Glad to see you found tires to fit that rim size. I may end up putting them on the 'turd' after all someday. Thanks for posting.

Okay guys, finally updating this thread with pictures of the SA dropped with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs that were on my FB. I've decided to go RE-Speed coilovers on the FB once I dig into the suspension. I'm very happy in the drop and it tightened the car up very nicely.
