Put my new Hawk HPS pads on, figured it would be a good idea over the old OEM ones I had; considering I hadn't changed them since the TII swap...

Unfortunately, one of my bleed valves decided to freaking break during bleeding. However, thank goodness for extracting bits.

i drew this up, its a cheat, it fixes the weird bend in the RB header, without having to fab up a whole new header.

Today I started working on my semi modified TFIDFIS setup (thanks T G Farrell and Jeff20B for all your tips and advice). Designed my mounting bracket for the 2 HEI modules, and started wiring them up. Gotta get some heat shrink tubing to finish that out, will work some more on that tomorrow...pics up soon on my build thread ("return of a limited" thread in the build folder). Goal is to make it look clean and as close to factory as possible...

Installed steering gearbox, pitman arm, and ignition lock. Calibrated preload is right on the money!

Started building the wiring harness for the Megasqurt, finished up customing the omp for the same setup. Getting closer to installing this thing! Just need some solid computer time to work on programming the thing...

Also cleaned up my shop a bit so I could move around easier lol.

I opened ups boxes filled with goodies. A new aluminum radiator, 1000cc injectors, enough -an fittings/hose/alu. tubing to plumb an aircraft carrier (at least that,s what it felt like when I payed). Megasquirt has been finished and waiting install for almost a year.

Dealing with the step-son this week, no time for fun stuff.

i knew that, i just thought we didn't work on our stuff that much... so after removing all the likely candidates, i have it making the noise, its on jack stands in reverse with the ebrake partially on, it doesnt make the noise lifted by the diff, so its some kind of driveshaft/?? thing... it did appear after i put new trans mounts in...

Heat shield rubbing.

Didn't do **** except drink a few and celebrate the end of long haul truckin. Might go do some more sanding on a BBS lip but for now I'm happy to know I don't have to live in a truck anymore.

Thanks! Its amazing what a good waxing will do. Before, the paint was so dull looking, it almost looked like a flat black paint job but in red.

Shined up nicely

Hey Glen, how's about sending me some of that California sun. Been raining since 10pm yesterday, lol.

Between rain showers I got the pullies and idler for the Camden on, still gotta swap the apt pulley though. Cleaned up the S/C a bit too.

I ran out of sun before I finished today's chores... clouds moved in just about 45 mins before sunset, & temp dropped about 15 degrees. Seriously interrupted my funxors.

What did I do for my car today? Busted my hump with the polisher, again.

Trans is done, now; looks pretty nice, too:

Front cover's almost there; polished, but not cleaned or coated yet.:

Rotor housings are about 80% - - that's what the lack of light interrupted.

What a nasty, dirty job polishing aluminum is.

"Before" pic for comparison:
