I saw it on a silver FB down at deals gap. It had some appeal to it. Skip the rest of the kit though, it doesnt suit the car.

Not so much. It looks to modern. Old school car needs to stick with the old school look.

Yea. But if i drive an 'old school' car people will make fun of me and tell me that there little Honda is better. Which i know isnt.

So i want some cool 'Modern' body kit.

Keep in mind guys that i am 15 and i cant even drive yet! The tuner scene is my generation. That body kit is more tuner-car-ish.

Thats a great reason to buy that kit! Just get it so no one makes fun of you and you dont have to be different! Getting it to conform to their "standards", I never would have thought of that! Good job!

RotorMotorDriver: If you want a more modern look, buy a different car. These cars are 23+ year old cars. Instead of buying a body kit, buy performance parts or parts to get the car up to par. But hey, it's your car....do what you want. But if you buy that kit, people will more than likely call it rice....I know I will.

you're already different. you're 15. I'm 18.

15 =/= 18

Also you spell "different" differently, how different!
yay!

Run without a bumper at all, heck, why even use heavy body panels? You have SOOO much potential to be different. Put valentine hearts with saying about how much people love each other all over your car with epoxy. That would be different, edible, and give you reading material.

You'll definatley be different when, according to your sig, you are giong for weight reduction yet you're putting a body kit on before you do anything to the motor. You're a champ.

don't rice the car out you will just end up taking it all back off because it doesn't look right you can still be different and keep the classic looks I am a believer in your car should be unique to you but you should also be true to your car and not try to make it into something it's not it's not a tunner and you said it's better than a honda so don't try to make it look like one there is my 2 cents hope it helps

dude just kuz your part of the "tuner generation" don't mean you have to go tuner. i just had my 17th b-day and im in the middle of restoring my 79' which i got nine months ago. and if you ever get an SA you dont mod it, you restore it the SA's are the true rare beauty of the rx7 world..... unless youre a super lucky person and have a 78' yes its a SA but its the savhana and wasnt sent to the U.S.

if youre gona rice a 7 rice a fc there blockish and funny looking they actually NEED the body kits. fb's dont need the body kits kuz they already look SWEET!!

It might look alright with suitable side and rear skirts. But wanting to "fit in" is a really bad reason to get it.

I am, however, really digging that Kaminari front end.

(Also, you realize that based on the "how old are you" thread, most of us are of the "tuner generation," right?)

I think if you are into rotaries, you are on the right track. Rotaries are a life style, a way of life. Do you and let them do them. Don't be a follower. The best feeling is when yur at the light and your motor is going "wep wep wep",(that unique rotary sound) and the honda or mitsubishi guy next to you gives you props... thats the best. Thats respect. live, eat, sleep rotaries!!!

OK. I want to be different. So i am going to do that body kit. It looks sick and will be functional.

I Really honestly dont care what anyone else thinks about my car or what i am going to do with it in the future. It is my own and thats how i want it.

All i want is a good running, cool looking, and decently fast car. I can do that to MY likings.

Think about how very few stock SA's still exist. A few hundred on the entire planet, probably less? The entire registry here amounts to less than a hundred still on the road, and many are not stock.

It's hard to get much more "different" than that.

Ultimately, it's your car, and you should do what you want, but you should think seriously about it first. It's a lot harder to undo than to do.

And, unless you're making your own parts, you're not really being original anyway; you're just bolting on someone else's original work.

YMMV.

No one would put a body kit on a vintage ferrari, so why would you put one on a rx-7?

Those low front air dams will get smashed and cracked from parking lots and speed bumps. They will look like hell.
