It took about 6 months, but I finally found some vintage 15 wheels with the right offset for the SA. They are 15x6 OZ mesh from 1984, 4x110 +20.
I had 2 of them straightened and the sanded, filled, primed, and painted them. Ended up wrapping them in Nitto Neogen 205/50/15 and they turned out great!
Havent noticed any rubbing, and the ride is totally different.
So, compared to your prior wheels and tires, how does the ride feel to you? Looks like you have a lowering spring set installed. Anything else hiding under there?

It seems to ride better than the 13s I had before, but I noticed Ill need an alignment.
It has ReSpeed coilovers up front, ReSpeed adjustable perches in the back, and Koni red adjustables all the way around.
Engine has a RB Dellorto 48 with intake manifold, RB header, RB heat shield, RB oil lines, RB front strut tower brace, MSD coils, silicone wires, Mallory fuel pump, Holley pressure regulator, Magnaflow exhaust, LSD rear with disk brakes, Xenon front air dam...sure I am missing something.
"Period correct" is the term you're looking for. The move to 15" wheels may not seem like much, but it opens up a whole slew of more modern performance tires, which can definitely be felt in cornering and braking. Plus, to retain rolling distance, you end up going Plus-One with shorter sidewalls, too.
I just wish Yokohama would restart the A008 lineup for 205/55-15, as I'd buy 2 sets today - one to mount and the other to store for next time. Simply the smoothest rolling, quietest high performance tire I had on my prior -7 (80LS).
