Tii fb hood.......

ive been working with a local company thats making parts for FDs and using my car for testing FB parts like the flush / sleek light kit i had on my car for seven stock.

now they are making a frp Tii hoodscoop that can be riveted on or molded in to a SA/FB/FC hood. ill get some pics when i get the scoop this weekend.

i know a lot of people like the Tii hood look and wanted to pass this along as they plan to have it on the market soon

and i like posting pics of my car

Thanks guys I've out a lot of work in the car the last couple years and I'm happy with how it came out.

The lights arn't done yet I ned to get the car back to the shop for some adjustments to how the lights bolt on, they have been realy bussey with fd stuff lately.

I just got the scoop so here are some quick phone pics, I'll get some better ones when I mount the scoop.

Looks well done. I just went and looked at an 87 TII for a possible swap and I was just wondering about this as well if I had to go with the stock TMIC for a while. Perfect timing

It bothers me that it's off centre. I know why it's off, but it still bothers me.

Nice looking scoop though!

I don't like to off center either. The good thing is that it can be installed however you want.

I like the original one, but this is quite interesting.
Scale of 1 to 10 how hard is the install?
1 being a 2 year-old can do it and 10 being have a pro do it.

thanks guys, i like the look of it and placed the scoop off center so when i put the hood on the other fb it will work as a cold air intake.

Redliner223 if you rivet it on its super easy, (3) i didn't want rivets showing so i cut the hole in the hood and used the same adhisive i used on the flares to glue it on, after it cured i removed the screws and filled the holes. (6)

or it you wanted to mold it in i would say (8-10)

i think the price is $150 but you can get in touch with HotWater Labs on their facebook page

Puts it over the air intake, I'd imagine.

It puts the scoop in the best spot for a cold air intake on a carb'd car.

I usually don't like contacting a company if they don't put their phone number and address on their site. It's one of the tests I use to determine if I should buy from a company because if I can't contact them before a sale how do I contact them after a sale. With only a form to fill out, customer are at the mercy of the company to respond. Plus, it's hard to do any research on the company.
