Arrow is there a market for OEM rims?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure the best road to travel with my new found issue.
Here is a background story.

the cars:
83 gsl, black.
my first rx-7, planing to sell it in couple of month.
was accidented several times before me, and one time by me. rear-end was damaged but fixed. almost like new. Nice outer condition, all rust removed, renforced all weak stuctural points, body wise.
84 gs, blue.
Purchased 2 weeks ago, awaiting to get it into my garage, has a new cutch and clutch cylender, a roll cage, shaved rear bumper and comes with 15" rims that where painted black but are actualy polished metal. with 5" lip. Nice wide rims, almost double the width of original tires. No wide body, needs a new motor and a paint job. Plan to install new 12a and keep it for myself.
83 gs, white.
Just agreed to purchase it. Has a good engine but a fried clutch. Lots of body rust.
Clean undamaged interior, glass sunroof, tinted read queter glass and tinted read hatch, glass visiualy in good shape. 14" rims, not sure what make, will get some pictures of them for identification later on. This will be my parts car to restore the other two, then sell the black FB.

Now with all of this my problem arives.
i have 7 OEM square rims in like new condition, plus 4 OEM that are painted grey, plus 1 rim that was damaged, but can be restored. so in total 12 13" rims.
4 custome 15" wide rims, and 4 not sure what kind but 14" and same width as the 13".

If i install the 15" on my keeper car i would need to sell the rest, since with a wide body i would not be able to use them.
From your experiances would it be worth it and possable to sell the oem rims, or would i better keep them and sell the 15" wide ones.

Will post pics of the 14" ones tommorow to get your help identiefing them.

thanks, now just to confirm just looking for opinions.

no, but they are way better than after market rims, especially if they are in good shape. I'd hold on to the good set, never know, you might change your mind.

i admit there are better looking wheels than stock, but i really like the stock ones also, they're so nice and lite too . . . has anyone ever painted the + wheels black? i've been thinking about doing that to mine, see how it turns out.

OEMs are a dime-a-dozen - figure about $25 each on ebay for a clean rim. Shipping makes charging much more a losing proposition. I agree here - keep the really good 4 OEMs. you can try to sell the rest, but ultimately if you can find another RX7 owner who you can give them too, it will save you a trip to the dump. Sad but true state of affairs...

They where custome made, and they came with the car i bought 2/3 weeks ago or so.
Here is how they look like on an fb, now the tires that are on them right now are nerrower then the rims, making them look smaller.

They are very nice and in almost brand new condition, except painted, but can be reverted. I originaly was thinking of going wide body, but it would upset me to get rid of all thouse 13/14" rims :/

Road Atlanta at last summer's ZoomFest, it's a parade lap, I'm not a racer (but you can do some real laps on the track if you want).

Nice thing about those wheels is the car will float if you ever end up in the water

Not the nicest looking wheels; but, they would be decent for the race car.

No, those are SA Waffle wheels. The LE wheels look like the Vert BBS wheels only in 14's
