ON Teardown Surprise

I found this little gem sitting on top of the Nikki carb in my 1983 GSL project car.

Looks like the top of one of sensors used in Dorthy in the movie Twister.

Lol, is that one of those tornado intake drop ins? Haven't seen one of those gimmicks in a really long time.

Neither have I. Until this sparked curiosity. Then I found "TurboAir.com" Complete with a "10 on your side" Local News consumer watchdog schtick. It's everything I hate about local news.

what a bit of curiosities for the morning.

That's the first time I've heard of one being on an RX-7. I found a similar one on a Corvette that I bought back in 2017. Removed it immediately and low and behold, the engine idled much better!
