ON Need Help Identifying this Carb

According to the previous owner, this was a "performance carb" that he purchased for his 1983 RX7 GSL.

Definitely looks like a Nikki .. however it does look different from the factory carb that is currently installed on the engine.

Can anyone identify this carb and let me know if there is anything unique or special about it?

it would have been ok just to post everything in one post instead of creating 3 separate posts.

Thanks Michael .. I will keep that in mind for next time.

The tornado intake drop in gimmick was kind of a joke. I thought members might get a good chuckle out of it.
The performance carb was more of a serious inquiry for a rotary engine.
The intake manifold wasn't rotary related at all. I wasn't even sure if I should post it on this forum.

Replied to wrong thread. This should be for "What is this carb part?"

From the pictures of the air horn, it looks like it is from an 84 or 85. On those year there is a #2 Main Air Bleed. If you have richer solenoid on the main body, or if the hole is threaded and not plugged, then it for a manual transmission. Auto transmission carbs do not have the richer solenoid. As far as I know.
Image is an 84 manual transmission (MT) carb. Your Part 8 is the Richer Solenoid.

This may help locating where many of your parts go. (I just finished rebuilding my 84 MT carb.) I like to take pictures before I take stuff apart.

The #7 photo appears to me to be a throttle position sensor, commonly referred to as a TPS sensor, which is essentially a potentiometer.
