I won't be able to make it to this auto-x unfortunately, just too much other stuff and a car that won't be ready. I un-registered, so if anyone else is waiting in the wings, now's the opportunity to grab a spot!

 

We're going to the reception too, so we'll be there until late in the night.

I do, but it's being lent to my sister, so taking it isn't really an option. I probably won't be making this one. I'm home now and can't afford to sit at home for 6 days. The next couple days will be devoted to trying desperately to get the 7 running and then it's back to work. Gotta pay the bills, which is getting harder the more time I spend screwing with the car.

 

Sorry to hear you can't make it man. Think you'll have her together for the July 3rd/4th event?

 

If you guys can't get things together for this weekend, maybe the following weekend would work out better for you. That one is a two day event anyways, and it is also on a huge lot and is a great event. But if I had my way, I'd have you guys over for both events.

I had to drive to work today in the middle of a thunderstorm, pouring rain.

Having actual tread on the tires makes quite a difference!

Now I just have to try to get a few hundred miles on them before the race, to break them in. I just read an article about the release lubricants tire manufacturers use, and how they will effect performance until worn off (they recommend at least 500 miles).

What a drag, I actually have to drive my car! lol.

Well my car is back to being driveable, although not the safest yet, but I think I have a really good chance to make it down now.

That won't be happening. I've been taking too much time off trying to get the car running and the paychecks are started to suffer. I need to go back to work so I can get caught up.

How's it look for the July 3rd/4th event?

 

I'm leaving tonight and heading to BC with about 5 deliveries in between. I doubt I'll be home by then.

 

car is fully driveable now! as long as nothing stupid happens in the next couple of days, I'll be there. still need to figure out how to mount my fan and what not.

lol, I'll try not too. I still need to finish my fan install, close up all the gaps to the radiator, go for a good highway run for testing purposes, do a bit more tuning, then ill be ready to come down. ill most likely be at your place Sunday evening sometime.
