You got a little spot of dirt right there...

Argh, I miss rallycross! I wish they still held them around here. Nice video... the "over the shoulder" shot is one of my favorite places to stick the GoPro. Catching all the dirt flying up with the rear shot was a nice effect too.

What's that black thing up in the sky that looks like a helicopter or balloon?

Yep, GoPro cameras do that by design to keep from washing out the image.

Nice!! Looks like tons of fun! Where is the GoPro mounted? B pillar or quarter window?? I've wanted to put mine on the b pillar, just hope it would stay lol. Also, you have the open rear cover on it or the waterproof cover on it??

The camera is an old GoPro. The sound is set on Lo and the waterproof gasket is not in the case. It's mounted on the B Pillar.

So that's what RallyCross looks like outside of the drought zone?
I can't wait to see the footage from this weekend. It was great to meet you (and run with you), and I'll be watching for a reply so I know you made it home safely.

Here's a quick video of my carbed SE on wasted from struts/springs from the MiDiv Championship back on 7/31/2011. This same site hosted the 2011 SCCA RallyCross National Championship this weekend, where I had the pleasure to meet peejay, and compete with him in Mod 2WD.
Obviously, my busted junkyard reject front struts/springs keep me from being competitive, but I was there for fun, and I had more fun than the law oughta allow.

http://youtu.be/TyoDyT3wA2U

The scraping noise is the edge of the tread rubbing the fender lip, since cured with a minor rolling of the front fenders. The sputtering was a combination of minor carb issues and an almost fouled 2L spark plug, also cured.
I believe this was my co-driver at the wheel. It was his GoPro HD, and is the only video I have access to.
I had a different co-driver for Nats, and had a borrowed GoPro. As soon as I get the footage, I'll edit together a long video and post it on youtube, with a link posted in a new thread.

I hear that a lot. They aren't vette wheels, as they're only 15x6 +35, and 4 x 114.3.
No clue what brand they are, as the 3 center caps that came with them all have different brands printed on them. They are, however, true directionals. With the "Right" and "Left" cast into the wheels, it makes it much easier to see which side those silverstone rally tyres go on.

Could be some old Fittipaldi's:

But they DO look like Corvette Wheels. (Even if they aren't)

Yes, they do look very similar to vette wheels. They look very much like the lower wheel, but use a solid cap over the lugs, like the upper.
I bought them for $50, sight unseen, only knowing they had been on a S13 240SX, and the seller said they looked very similar to older corvette wheels.
Someone said nissan used some wheels that looked very similar on a couple cars, but they don't have any markings to indicate they were a factory wheel.
