sourcing interior parts

Where do most of you look for parts? Here? Ebay? Something else?

I'm going to need a few random parts, but I'm not sure what's the best way to find them.

Thanks.

It has been said that no one is an atheist in war. Finding useable parts for a reasonable price has become a crusade. So to answer your question: ebay, craigslist, facebook marketplace, mazdatrix, atkins rotary are places where you might find what you are looking for. Of course the forums are a good source also. If you do find what you are looking for, drop to your knees and thank the flying spaghetti monster for the blessings bestowed upon you.

You will need to be persistent and patient. Nice interior pieces can be hard to find. No aftermarket mfg. has found it affordable to offer OEM style replacement parts. the market is just not there yet and may never be. We are left with picking over the bones of cars that have been junked or parted out. Put up a parts wanted ad here on the forums, search the parts for sale section and eBay, Craigslist or any other publication for cars that are being parted out. Keep an eye out in your local area for cars tucked away. You never know what may pop up and when. Don't expect instant results or gratification but you may be surprised what you can find.

There was a car near me being parted out but that person didn't have the parts I wanted. I'll put up a thing here and keep an eye on Ebay. Nothing I'm looking for is really important so I'm not in a hurry. Except maybe the thing that holds the hood up. That's kind of aggravating.

The FB groups usually have a lot of people selling parts. I'd try those as well.

Try LKQ. They're buying up local boneyards left and right. Though I hate how they control prices, they are going through the cars and itemizing parts - so you can call and get a decent part search. I have a buddy who works there - said there were low mile 12A's available.
