Some Good News!

The Mazda RX7 is finally getting a little recognition from Hagerty in the in the collector car world. Just saw this article about some Japanese vehicles rising in price this year and the 1979-1985 Mazda RX7's got a nice shout-out!

I look forward to the private FB marketplace sellers trying to get 30k out of a clapped out GS. "I know what I have".

Maybe someday I'll have all the dents and dings I made over 43 years fixed and get a respray. Or I can just keep driving it.

it's the same with all the old school rotaries. prices have gotten ridiculous. it's what has kept me from getting back into one.

So glad I picked up my '83 GSL for $3,500 last year. Seeing 1st and 2nd gen's selling for close to and over $10k is crazy to me. I remember the last time I owned a 1st gen was in early 2000's and finding parts in the junk yard was like being a kid in a candy store. I would actually pull headers and performance parts to flip and sell in Ebay.
