Yeah, I know I am breaking the rules with this but ran across it on CL and thought I'd share.


RX7 Track Car - First Gen - $1500 (willow glen / cambrian)

First Generation Mazda RX7 Track Car. 1984 GXL SE Body w/ an REPU 4 port 13B motor, 48 mm Delortto side draft carb, racing beat intake, header and exhaust. AutoPower 6 point roll cage, 5 point seat belt harness, Ground Control adjustable coil overs with camber plates, hawk blue pads, adjustable dampers. Rebuilt transmission, welded diff, lightened flywheel, K&N air filter, lightweight battery.
The majority of the car has been gutted. door guts, hood guts, sunroof, dash, bumpers etc. The sunroof and rear window have been replaced with 1/8" Lexan. The car comes with stock alloy wheels, all season tires and a cheesy plastic bucket seat.

Runs great, stops great and has been lightened to about 1,800 lbs. Compression test showed even pulses on all 3 sides of the rotor and equal between the front and rear rotor.

This is a track car, not currently registered with the DMV.

Asking $1,500 or best offer. I will only negotiate in person. If the ad is still up, then the car is still for sale.
