Hello,

New to the forum here and don’t know squat about Rx7’s. I just bought a 1979 rx7 off of a friend that apart from the engine frame and interior dash is not a Rx7 but called a radical rotary. I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about these or at least what this beautiful car is?

 

This thing screams 80s. I can't tell whether I love it or absolutely hate it, but this would fit right in at Radwood events.

 

It gives off that Miami vice vibe 😂😂😂

I actually thought this was a bricklin when I first saw it but unfortunately no I wish it was a Delorean 😅

 

Very unusual to say the least. Does it run? I bet it sounds wicked with those Ansi tips!!

 

It turns over very smoothly overhauling it at the moment, so far it has spark trying to sort out the fuel issue now. Not sure if I can upload videos here but I’ll put a link to my YouTube once I do 😁

 

It's certainly a rare, special model I've never saw before. A 1 of 1 maybe?

 

Looks like an rx7, Porsche 928 and delorean had a 3 way!

 

Maybe a TR7 got in there at the last minute?

 

Wow there is so much going on with that, so cool. What is the chassis based on? I can't tell.

Sort of SA Rx front bumper look/turn signals but Oldsmobile rear tail lights.

Lets us know how it is to change the spark plugs... From underneath?!
