If I remember correctly and you search Pacfic Avatar on the forum this car is owned by a forum member and he was working on an awesome restoration of this car. I have an 83 PA as well but it doesn't have all the goodies that this one did

I think the thread that came up about that restoration was by Cliffh. I believe he had to sell it for some reason.

Hi guys.
Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated
I have been out of touch for the last few years.
Yes this is my car. I have been working hard to restore it.
I would love a copy of the article, or any other out there.
I will try to post a thread of the rebuild, in the future.

These wider wheels are getting tough to find.
I switched my suspension to gsl-se and am having a tough time getting wheels that are not too expensive.

cliffh, I know you are wanting some really cool wheels however if you can find a SSR dealer stateside they are making oldschool rims and some others in the correct backspacking and bolt patterns

Cool,
The originals were a mesh bbs in two colors - ugly gold and black - with a silver rim.
I will check out the ssr per your recommendation.
Thanks, cliff
