Rx-7 Club of America blast from the past
I was a member of the Rx-7 Club of America from 1985 through 1989 or 1990. I was going through some old stuff the other day and ran into a box of old Rotary Rocket magazines and found this keyring and window sticker that I got when I signed up. I never used the keyring and it was in a little zip-lock type bag that it was shipped in. The reason I never used the keyring was because it looks better in the pictures than is it. I would be surprised if it would last 6 months. The window sticker looks like it could still be good although I suppose the adhesive could be dried out and you wouldn't know until you tried to apply it. The sticker looks odd because it was supposed to go on the glass inside the car and be read from the outside. I almost threw these out but I realized that they brought back fond memories of my first two 7's (82 GSL and 87 GXL).
Note to moderators: I think I tried to originally post this in the wrong place. Sorry about that!

There are still quite a few old Rx-7 club members around this forum. One time a few years ago, I was looking back through a very early Rx-7 report and saw a tip article submitted by a guy who still posts here on these very electrons. It was a cool discovery.
or - (ahem) - SELL them. Ebay boyz are paying some good coin if your collection is reasonably complete. I bought my early-SA issues set off ebay some years ago. Some great tips from the then-new owners (lucky bastids). Fun trip down memory lane when the New RX7 was the Gee-Whiz car to own.

Its possible that the original poster does have them still but hasn't logged on in some time. Its possible that he is an older gentleman and has either sold his RX-7 or has moved on from the internet or something more grim. Doesn't hurt to try amd reach out to him though. You never know. He may have just got caught up in life and just hasn't logged on in six years.

It is kind of surprising that I remembered my password.
No worries, definitely a cool keychain to hang on to! its cool you still have the car, make sure to get out and enjoy it
I've had my 85 for 3 years now as I got it for my first car, I hope to hang onto it until the end of my time haha! Happy motoring!

Glad to hear that you're still active on the forum and glad that you still have the car! I had a customer that was in his 80’s and he also had a Sparkling Black Metallic 85. His was a GS and it had only 32k original miles. He unfortunately stopped calling for service amd when i reached out, his home line was disconnected and I lost touch with him. This was more than 10 years ago. He had some really fun stories about when he worked at Nasa and how he would take the girls from work on rides in the car. Very good stuff!
None of us are getting any younger; get out there and enjoy them while we're young!
As a sidenote, I have probably 6-8 issues of the last few years of Rotary Rocket Magazine from 1985-1986. The stealership used to give subscriptions to new car purchasers, and my Dad received them from Mar-1985 until the following year when the 2nd Gen car was released. Lots of time capsule ads and articles in those.

The old rotary rockets are super rad. I have the 1985 and 1986 series of issues, plus a 1988 one. Some of the pictures you just have to laugh at because they are so 80s, but so darn cool!
My sticker is cracking, but still holding onto the side window in my 1982 GSL. My brother-in-law bought the car new in 1982 and passed it onto me 10 years ago. I gently clean the window around the sticker so it doesn’t crumble.
Found this tip online, it may help you preserve the window sticker.
