My car has some rust but not too much. Located in the back because of clogged drain tubes. I have the sill repaired and not working on the wheel well area. The rusted space is about 4x6 in area and the thin spot extends to about 6 x 10.

I cut it all out but the doubler plate is completely gone in a large area. Of I patch with normal metal how should I go and make the area as strong or stronger than stock?
