Hello,

I am looking for the rubber bits for rebuilding the front disc brake calipers from my 1980 SA. I plan to have them powder coated but my rebuilder warned my rubbers boots and other similar bits are ratty and should be replaced.

I do not see these rubber components in SA/FB front disc brake rebuild kits.

Does anyone know if newer RX-7 and or RX-8 / Miata rubber bits work on my two SA calipers? Or other alternatives? Rock Auto appears to have remanufactured calipers for the 1980 SA but with differently shaped rubber. I understand the hose threads are different between he Sara and FB calipers.

Otherwise I may need to sketch and print some.

*** Update *** maybe Atkins Rotary’s 81-85 front caliper boots will work. 😵‍💫 Thanks for reading my post!
