Function first

I have done nothing to this car without considering function first. The rotor muffler only costs slightly more than the others RB sells and is a straight through packed muffler. By my top speed calculations I gained a minimum of 25hp with this exhaust set up. I would highly recommend this muffler if performance is the goal. I will post the picks after the foot of snow melts.

Looking forward to the pics. Sound clips or video would be fantastic as well, if possible.

Hopefully you have done more than just put the muffler on the stock exhaust to come up with the +25hp...

I have RB headers to a straight pipe. It is all custom to the rotor muffler. I did not mean to imply I got +25hp with just the muffler.

A RB exhaust will NOT add 25whp on a 12a... It takes a lot more than that.

An RB exhaust and a nice Holley setup will add like 35 WHP though.

USB port broken

I dropped my computer last week and the USB port broke. I have to fix it before I can load the videos. Hopefully early next week. I gained approximately 25 flywheel hp with the setup. It is not RB all the way back, just the header.

Videos

Here are the videos you have been waiting for. One is just at idle, but has a close up. The other is revving to 6k. Sorry about the grainy picture.

I'm thinking about getting one in the next couple weeks. The whole system is gonna be RB roadrace header, 2.5" piping, 2 presilencers and the rotor muffler. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow, but idk now. I'm not 100% sold on the sound.

So performance wise, will this be better than the RB power pulse muffler ?

That's what I want to know, don't like the sound it makes on a 12A though.

I have a Magnaflow muffler on my setup. Here's a video of it, however read the description (crappy camera). However, now my setup is a 2nd Gen header and new cat leading up to this muffler, so now my setup is a little bit deeper and nicer sounding. Also, that loud "whirr'ing" noise you hear at high RPM is my old stock clutch-fan setup. Now that I got dual e-fans, I don't hear that anymore, either.

I agree, after hearing the magnaflow, that's definitely what I'm going with. I am still interested in seeing what power numbers the rotor muffler puts out in comparison.
