If we bridge port the motor, will it generate 1.21 gigawatts?

I am curious about displacement, 1 or 2 rotors. I wonder how they'll handle lubrication...mostly because I think people will be even more hands off when it's not the primary power plant, therefore less prone to maintain properly. Maybe.

I suppose it makes sense as a range extender since it can be smaller. But it's no RX-9, alas.

Single rotor, constant rpm. Probably be a oil injection that lights up when its low if they are smart.

Stupid. Should have brought the rotary engine back "all the way". Not some hybrid bullshit.

Here are patent pictures

Unfortunately it doesn't look too compact. The drawings show the engine+generator taking up the rear space and powering a motor to the front wheels.
I wouldn't mind seeing this powering a 6.

Looks pretty convoluted. Whatever happened to the concept of a single rotor range extender that had the rotor and stator built into the rotor and housing themselves (negating need for seperate generator) and running on diesel or some other self lubricating fuel?

Just not the same as winding out the rotary. It’s going to be in a small eco car🤔
