Rear Spoiler question

Hello,

My 82 is going into the body shop soon for its surface rust repair and a repaint in original black and was curious if I should leave that spoiler on it or not. Is it a sought after item or anything? I'm new to the rotary scene and know nothing about classic rx-7's.

(The sticker on the back is going away its just an inside joke heh)

I almost like it more without but cant decide.

Opinions?

It's cool, keep it!
But if you decide not to, then give it to me!

I have spoilers on both my FB's so I say keep it on there, to me it completes the look of an otherwise perfect looking car, but thats just my opinion

The rear spoilers aren't too paticularily rare, they come around enough if you look for them.

Personally I'm not a fan of the look, but I really like yours. If you are looking at selling it I could be interested.

I would leave the spoiler on personally, this style of spoiler looks pretty clean and matches the styling of the car quite well.

Mariah makes the IMSA tail (that would be the correct IMSA tail) the really tall one like on the 79 daytona car

$316 for the Mariah Mode 4 rear spoiler. Ouch.

What Machado has done with the SAAB 900 spoiler is intriguing though.

There is always at least one of these poor old things at my Pick n Pull.

Looks a little too small and narrow.

I would call that a duckling tail.

if it was my car, i'd have the spoiler painted separately. that way if you decide to take it off, its not a big deal.

IMO the spoiler is weird. it IS functional, but looks wise i like it better without, unless the car already has it, then i'd just leave it
