haha, I still havent fit those on my car to see if they will work. I'm thinking they will stick out past the fenders too much. I pray that i can use them but most likely, I will go have to go with my other set of fins that have about half the lip of those.

they would work with flares but I don't want to add flares to my car. The body of my car only has 37k original miles.

Well your 205 and 215 arent gonna make the tires any different in height.. thats your tire width measurement, for the most part. The 50 height is of course gonna be a shorter tire cause its less than 60. The 50's are a more "lowpro" tire so your gonna get a bit better cornering with less tire roll.

yeah but a 275-50-13(23.8") would still be taller than a 215-60-13 (23.2")

so both numbers do play a role I'm just saying I like the width of the 215's but they are shorter than the 205s so wanted to see them beside a stock tire or even beside each other for comparison

thinking of running either 205-60-13 (22.7") rear 145-80-13(22.6") front combo

OR

215-50-13(21.5") rear and 135-80-13(21.5") fronts

I cant stand it when front tires are taller than rears same is ok and even rears taller is fine but not other way around

im running 185/60-13 on the front and 205/60 on the rear. the rears are a good bit taller and meatier. u can tell a big difference. in my opinion the 185/60 leaves a little too much fender gap in the front and it needs to be lowered. a friend of mine is running 215/50-13 all the way around with around 2 inches of drop and it looks really good

yeah I know I'm going for the old muscle car/hot rod stance have 13x5 fronts and 13x7.5 rear aluminum slots , right now they have 185/70/13's which are 23.2" tall and they just seem bit tall they are also too wide on front wheels and too narrow for rears

I run square 245/45 16s on both my street and track wheels.

However, you have to be careful with only going off the numbers on the tire as actual sizes vary between manufacturers. Many manufacturers post their actual tire size on their web page.

how about these? BBS RS

the first pic are for sale 15x7 +25 4x114.3. I think these would fit a gsl-se and sit about flush. Still in Japan, I'm debating whether to pick them up or not. They are for sale for $400 but would cost about $700 after shipping from Japan. Also widely available in 16 inchers.

next pic shows what can be done with them..... changed center plate, polished face and painted inside the spokes black. (I've also seen keeping the stock centerplate but painting the inside section of the mesh black so it looks like it's hollow so to speak.)

Another idea, gold centers

Here's one with the stock center plate but painted insides black so it looks like the mesh runs all the way to the center. I wish I had a better pic.

I have been looking for some BBS for awhile now but it's rare to see them in 4x114.3. This is the first time I have seen them for sale in that bolt pattern. The cool thing with those wheels is that they are only bolted together (the lip with the face and back half), then sealed with RTV or something like that. This makes it super easy to change the width of the wheel or lip. They are not welded together like SSR's.

with flat center caps
