Nice wheels! I love the look and the stance. What size tires do you have on them?

Your car is pretty clean as well. Personally I always love wheels that have a deep dish offset. My wheels are BBS RS 16x9 with 3 inch lips in front and 17x10 with 3.5 inch lips in rear. In the picture shown above, front are BBS RS and rear are CCW. I was just test fitting and trying to see which one looks better. And I definitely go with BBS RS.

Thanks! both wheels look good, but good choice on the bbs. I would love to do flares and deep wide wheels, but it won't be for a while. These will have to do for now. I need to get working on the t2 engine first.

After sitting in my garage neary 15 years and one year being in the shop, my FB is nearly completed. I changed almost everything I could imagine. A 13B half Bridgeport Comp Turbo GT35R Triple ball bearing with a water/methanol injection and V-Mount intercooler had replaced a stock 12A engine. Getting a new paint job next week. With the amount of $$ I spent, I definitely will keep this FB Turbo for life.

I wish I could tell you but those CCW's are not mine.. I snatched them right out from an RX-3 left at the shop for the purpose of test fitting. All I can tell you that the rear is 17x9. The front wheel (BBS RS) is mine. They're 16x9 on 205/40/16 and16x10 on 225/50/16.

I squeezed 17x10.5 245/35/17 rear and 16x9 225/40/16 front. You will need 3 piece wheels in order to stretch the inner barrels and outer lips to the max. CCW is running about 3K for a set of 4 wheels and BBS RS is about the same.. I changed all brakes to turbo ll disc brakes with 5x114.3. New heavy duty axles, new coil over front and rear so that the inner barrels could stretch all the way since they are much skinner than stock one. It got very pricey when everything is done however I got what I designed my car to be.. Btw.. 18x10 285/30/18s also fit in the rear but I think they are way too big.

Beat This..!!! 18x10 on 285/35/18. But nah it's not really the kind of look I want. Just wanna see if 18's will fit in a FB. Stock wheel were 13x5. That would be +5 from stock.

they're nice street II's by the looks. im in oregon and there's a guy on craigslist asking 400 for a set of hayashi street II's, without tires and i asked for pics and they looked pretty rough.
i just got a parts car with nice 15x7 riken mesh wheels with polished lip instead. i'm going to clean them and paint them they hopefully come up nice. i heard they're a both the rikens and hayashi's are fairly rare and i like them because they're 'period correct', very suitable.

I agree.
I believe they originally came in gold like the Enkie mesh wheels with a polished lip, but a bronze will look good too.

Finally got the wheels mounted, the exhaust finished and ride height set. Now something in the electrical system is acting up. I think it's the oscillator, but I dunno. Car is a blast to drive and I love looking at it. I've noticed people looking while driving around town too, which while that isn't why I built the car,it still feels nice. Unfortunately I can't afford to keep it on the road along with the new car so she'll be parked for a bit. Maybe pull her out for a month in the fall.

will post up pics of them on the car soon

How did you go fitting the 15x8 shakotans? Did you need to roll the guards? I just stumbled across them on ebay myself and all my searchings have led me back here! I want a set but they dont come in 7.5? Was looking at getting work equip 03's but the rotas are less than half the price and i think maybe i like them better!
