Possibly a Mazda USA inhouse prototype design that somehow ended in private hands ....

People make this mistake way too often. I hate clicking on a Craigslist ad that says RX-7, ans it turns out to be a lousy cougar.

Back in the late eighties before the intranet I was calling used car dealers asking if they had any Mazda Rx-7's for sale. One them answered; No but I have a Cougar Xr-7. Close enough!, LMAO.

...And to top it off its a diecast toy lol and i saw some one said its a mercury not a mazda, if you own a Thunderbird SC or Cougar XR-7 then yea is not a mazda... excluding your transmission and other esential parts of the car (mazda made alot of transmission for ford vehicles)

Happens to me atleast once per day! I always flag them for "miscatergorized" cause I get so frustrated.

Well, Renault's typos made it all the way onto their cars!

Very annoying that they just pinched RX4. Yes it doesn't have the "dash" but I'm surprised they can use that name.
