People make this mistake way too often. I hate clicking on a Craigslist ad that says RX-7, ans it turns out to be a lousy cougar.

Back in the late eighties before the intranet I was calling used car dealers asking if they had any Mazda Rx-7's for sale. One them answered; No but I have a Cougar Xr-7. Close enough!, LMAO.

...And to top it off its a diecast toy lol and i saw some one said its a mercury not a mazda, if you own a Thunderbird SC or Cougar XR-7 then yea is not a mazda... excluding your transmission and other esential parts of the car (mazda made alot of transmission for ford vehicles)

Happens to me atleast once per day! I always flag them for "miscatergorized" cause I get so frustrated. |

Used to see a bunch of XR-7s at my local junk yard. No RX-7's though.

Very annoying that they just pinched RX4. Yes it doesn't have the "dash" but I'm surprised they can use that name. |
