Hey guys, just wanted to see some pics that anybody has of racing 1st gens. They look so sweet.

 

Im sure I have some more stashed around somewhere but this is what I have offhand from my car folder.

I think ya might also wanna have this moved to non-technical.

 

i have an actual picture of the yellow 38 car in my room. my friends dad took it in 1985 at pocono and gave it to me for my bday. its such a sick car, and the same with the black 22 one, i love the perfect clean look of it

Did you finally put FD seats in your car?

 

yeha, it does

Yes I did, but I'm not happy with the fit. Too great a reduction in head room.
I'll be looking to replace them next spring.

 

damn. I've been looking for more headroom, and if you lost too much headroom w/ the FD seats, I wouldn't be able to fit in the car.

 

THE racing first-gen:

 

kentetsu.. run black SA seats! try to get a bucket for the drivers side. that's what imma do

 

i love that look of that rx7, the colors are realy sik, but i prob wuldnt go with them, bc its a common color theme to go with if ur gonna race. but it does look amazing

 

It's "common" BECAUSE of that specific car, I'd bet...

 

that's like my favorite one, it looks great, sounds F-ing amazing....

the rx-2 next door, if you look on a DB chart, is the loudest noise possible. we were at the historics in 04, and the whole pack of mazda's would come around (the 1st gen, 787b, the two camel lights cars, the 4 rotor FC) then you'd hear this noise that was louder than all of those other cars put together...

then this little rx2 would putt around turn 3....

i saw pics of ur car on my friends computer, haha, his dad has a gtus and when i got my rx7, he hasnt stopped lookin at 1st gens, he loves urs
