Convertible? Mazda Australia had six built by a specialist subcontractor, and approved as a special series of a maximum twenty per year under the Australian Design Regulations after structural engineering certification. The cost new was 50% higher than the coupe!
In the USA, Pacific Avator converted 126 used Gen 1s between 83 and 87. These varied according to customer requirement and were never stock.

hope you like. white one is mine, the silver sa is my good buddies who i talked into getting a 7. have 189K on mine, a/c works (recently was my project to get the a/c workin, now im just chillin.) the lazyeye in the one picture is pretty lame, so just disregard that...
