I haven't sold it yet but the vert in my avatar has been consuming time and money like crazy (trying to build a huge HP daily driver out of it, not sure why when I have a great SE...)
I just have too many things going on right now: the vert, a boat, another pregnancy, higher property taxes, etc. I really wish I could keep it because I've never seen another one as nice, not even those super-low mileage eBay beauties, lol. I have every stock part taken off of it and a truckload of extra parts for it too if anyone is interested.

Found this beautiful 1979 Rx-7 at a local classic car dealer last spring. 33K original miles, original paint and interior. Build date of 3/78! Started up and ran flawlessly. Needed nothing. They were asking $5995 and couldn't sell it here in "truck country". The car was on consignment and the owner took it back. Why do these things show up when I'm broke? Dang!

My silver SE which had 24,000 one owner miles. Found it just 20 miles away via an auto magaziner ad. I (stupidly) sold it this summer.
I replaced it with an 82 equipped with a 4 port 13B, streetported and CarTech Turbod for 325 hp. Unfortunately, it was stolen 8 weeks later.
Unbelievably, I lucked out and just purchased another silver SE with 29,000 miles! Found it about 200 miles away on ebay. It needs new wheels and tires (still original) but pics coming soon.

Boy, a thread back from the dead!
Here's my replacement SE. The one tat is pictured just a few posts before this one was sold in July 2006 so I could fund the purchase of an 82 Turbo... which wound up stolen about 30 days after it arrived. I replaced that car with this one. Just like the other silver SE, it has low miles and is all stock except for the wheels. In fact, I removed the original tires from both cars! Pics to both (and others) are on my web page.
