I rescued this one a few years ago. It was in rough shape. I have about $4000 into it. Many new parts. I even replaced all of the emblems! Just turned 130k miles yesterday. I might sell it next year.

I think i got one in my thread called "my first car- 83 gsl!!! pics" that is on the first page right now. I don't have a camera and i don't know how to copy them over here. The only big problem with it is it needs a rebuilt engine from sitting 10 years. Theres hardly any rust, FACTORY PAINT, and stock except for rb engine torque brace. If some body could copy a few pics over here that would be great.

Kickass cars guys. I'd post mine, but it's not stock.
It's "If I were a Mazda engineer, what would I do with mine that the mazda bean counters and government emissions laws wouldn't let me do".
So to *me* it's what stock *should* have been.
But you all have awesome cars.

Hi Folks -
This is my first post here - great site! I love this forum! Here's my 7 - just bought it about 3 weeks ago. 85 GLS, 48000 original Kms (30K miles) and absolute bone stock. Even had the original tires on it when I picked it up - I had to change them right off, as my first drive in it was 800 Kms. Never had any body work, paint, or mods.
The engine bay is kinda nasty as it was sprayed with undercoating - i don;t know how the hell I'm going to get that off. Aside from a few rusted bolt heads theres not a spot of rust on this one. Hope these pix work - I'll post some better ones when I take some.

the most stock it's been, and probably ever will be. It's a great car, and hope to keep it for a long long time. I'm not going to mess with the body though. Nothing looks as good IMO.
