Opinions on dash cover
Has anyone dealt with, seen first hand, used, or have any other experience with this company?

I have a crack right in the middle of mine that has had a previous attempted repair (good enough to cover with fabric if I wanted to go that route). I have a classic sports car restoration shop near me that I was thinking of contacting to see if they could make it like new again, however for roughly $100 that ebay option may not be a bad idea.
Thanks for the input!

The 83 I'm currently working on had the cover, it had deteriorated and really didn't look all that good.
I think reconditioning that unit you have is a better option. There is a pliable padded dash filler that's available that I was going to use on my original dash, which had a crack similar to yours.
I found a better dash so I haven't tried it yet, but this is my back up option:

I figure if you clean up the wound really well, sand down the edges of the cut so they are flush with the dash surface and then let this dash filler do it's thing, it just might come out pretty well.
Finish with a coat of that flexible SEM spray paint for plastics and vinyls and it will look pretty good and fit way better than a dash cover.

So step out on the limb you say..... that's some risky business right there. With my luck and lack of expertise this is bound to go down in flames
Im going to give this local shop a call and get a quote. If its too outrageous than I'll be the guinea pig for you Ray! If nothing else, if it turns out bad I have that ebay dash cover to resort to.

For whatever its worth - I had a plastic 'dash cap' on an RX years ago. It was black plastic on a black dash - and I thought it looked great. I thought it looked better than any attempt I'd made at a repair. With the simple layout of the dash, black on black, you couldn't tell there was a cap...
