You can put the 7 in the back of the Suburban for the autocross meets, totally Old School.

Or else, get a trailer, that's a nice color combination.

We need pics of the 7 on that trailer behind the Ruby Red Suburban. That would be totally cool.

that works for me, am changing the wheels that I have for auto crossing to 13-15 but before I do want to know width before they start sticking past fender and offsetting should I be looking at, within a few months though, Thanks. Oh, does anyone knows where could I start searching for better wheels on auto-x I like the diamonds on here but am trying not to limit my options either, Thanks.

there are many wheel choices out there...In my opinion... you have cheap (diamonds under $100 a wheel) or more expensive ( Panasports at just over $200 a wheel)

I love the Panasports and want a set for my 1980 Car...

Web site to buy Panasports... http://www.midatlanticmotorsport.com/panasport.htm

I like the look of the panasports; if I were ever to change out my beloved waffles, that's probably where I'd go, unless Cragar miraculously decided to resurrect the original classic SS rims in an SA-appropriate size, in which case I'd have to get fitted for a 5-hole pattern.

Here's another rx7 with old school tow vehicle. The K5 is a Blazer Chalet, factory camper. No. 1095 of about 1600. Accidentally color coordinated the two cars.

Totally cool, Old School with a trailer. Check out that camper, I'll bet it has stories to tell. And a track car to match, enough to make me wish I was a racer

The Suburban is perfect....runs great and in excellent shape. My dad used to work at the Chevy dealer...he sold this Suburban to his best friends mom back in 1991. She was the original owner and just passed away....

I bought the Suburban for $1700 from her estate sale with only 75,000 original highway miles.

It has worked out to be a great tow vehicle....before I was towing with my 2007 Jeep Wrangler 2 door.. way too short of a wheelbase to be towing with...

Your better off sticking with a 13 inch wheel for autocrossing. They will allow you to maintain a low center of gravity, tires are available from a number of manufacturers and are cheaper for smaller wheels. They also keep the gearing close to stock or shorter depending on the tire sidewall height. This helps acceleration. Also reduces unsprung weight, which lets the suspension respond faster to changes.

I agree about the 13" wheels...cheap and love the gearing...
