Noob Introduction:

Hello guys, I would like to formally introduce myself.. My name is Walter and I recently aquired and 1985 Mazda rx7 GSL or gsl-SE.. I acquired this through my Cousin who was the original owner when it first came out in 1985. He tells me its a gsl-SE but then again he's almost 50 yrs old so maybe his memory is bad.. Well here's some pics of my newly acquired baby... I know its a long way till she's up and running but to me its a beauty.. Like they say, One man's trash is another man's treasure.

That front air dam could be worth a few bucks if it's still in good shape. Just thought I'd tell you so you don't end up throwing it out on accident.

wheels look like gsl, but a safe way to tell is to look under the hood to see the engine, tho i'm almost sure that it's a GSL. anyways congrats

It's GSL. Rear wiper...

But it's got MAJOR rust damage like my little Rusty has.

Good luck. If I where you I would save up and get another. Don't take that the wrong way. Use that one for parts.
