New video: Duke Hazard at Oscoda Solo1
Hey guys. I just uploaded a new video of my codriver at a Solo I event up north. There were actually a Solo I and a Solo II event that weekend, so ignore the commentary at the beginning, all of this footage is Solo I (high speed).
I think the opening 10 seconds of this video is some of my favorite footage ever. The way the car comes around a sweeper and the sound of the shift into 3rd gear are just cool as hell. Turn the speakers up loud! The speeds don't look as fast as they really are due to the telephoto lens playing tricks, but we were topping out at well over 70 on this course.
Follow the link in my signature line, and look for "Duke Hazard at Oscoda". Let me know what you think. All input appreciated, but please be kind because I'm still learning how to use Windows Movie Maker. lol

Yeah, we've got the car running again. We just had our first race of the year last weekend, where I took 1st in CSP and my codriver took 3rd. The old girl did a really great job for us.
I'll get the videos of that race up as soon as I can. We got some great footage, there was like 5 or 6 RX7s there.

lol. I promise it won't be long, hopefully this weekend sometime. I've already gone through all of the clips and labeled them, so now I just have to assemble them, put in the titles, and do a little editing...
Oh yeah, and you beat a Porsche 911 too. Along with a 300ZX TT, a bunch of Imprezas, a BMW M3, a Mercedes AMG, a large hand full of Miatas, Jetta VR6, 78 Corvette, 56 Corvette, and of course 6 RX7s. I'd say that was a pretty good day for both of us man!

Are you a member of the Yahoo group? That's where I got the results from. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/wmas/
I just checked the Respeed forum, and I can't find the results submission page either. I'll check with Billy and see what's up...
